Troubled Teenager, Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal) is sent to sessions with a psychotherapist after his parents deem that he needs help. Unbeknownst to them, Donnie experiences encounters with a rabbit-like creature named Frank who warns him of the prophecy of the end of the world.

Set between parallel universes, Richard Kelly’s psychological movie leaves audiences thinking. The tale of Donnie as he uncovers facts about time travel alongside developing a friendship with the new girl, Gretchen Ross (Jena Malone).
