The Hangover Part III (2013)
Alan: We can’t be friends anymore. When we get together, bad things happen and people get hurt.
Mr. Chow: Yeah, but that’s the point! It’s funny!
What happens to a wolf pack when one of their own gets lost? The rest of the pack sets off to an adventure to find their lost friend. The Hangover 3 is a hilarious movie, still focusing on the quirky journey of Phil, Stu, and Allan as they search for Doug, their missing friend. Just like in the previous The Hangover films, the wolf pack encounters multiple coincidental, unfathomable, and hilarious mishaps that are apparently very entertaining to watch.
This film would not live up to the first The Hangovers without our favorite Chinese delinquent, Mr. Leslie Chow. From the first film to this last, Chow brings a whole lot more of chaotic yet funny adventures to the pack’s search for Doug. But what you’ll love most about this last part of the trilogy is the fact that it was able to make so many references and connections to the first film, giving us all the feels. Unlike in the previous The Hangovers, I find this one to be more sentimental and therefore more memorable because here, I’ve witnessed and truly fell for the amazing and adventurous friendship the wolf pack has.
